The joint Legislative Committee*, after investigating American life insurance, recommends that permission be given for the formation of mutual corporations without capital. It opposes any furrier formation of co-operative or assessment companies, denounces tie post admu&tration of mutual companies, limit's the new business of the larger companies to 15.000,000 dollars yearly, forbids officials to participate in syndicates, and recommend* many drastic reform*.
