PROPOSED NEW CLUB.. ■An enthusiastic meeting, at which about forty young men were present, was held in lizard's rooms last evening to form a new ' football club for Timarn, it having been recocrnised that two senior clubs do not provide scope for all the senior players There are in the town. It was'unanimously decided to.be a desirable thing to have another club. -Dr Dryden was appointed chairman c. ihe meeting, and stated that the object was to form a new senior club, so that ir.e large number of senior players in tiie town could take part in games regularly; at present they" could not do so. Dr Dryden was then unanimously elected president of the Club, and in replying said he was very glad to renew his connection with football, and promised to do his utmost, by his advice and presence, to assist the club. It was decided that the club bs named "The Pirates' Football Club." Mr-D. Campbell was appointed secretary, and Mr Imrie treasurer. The following vice-presidents were then elected: Messrs B, Porter, J." H. Rodgers, M. . Roseingrave, and T. Blanchard; captain W. Carlton; vice-captain, F. Wall; : committee—R. Black, Waldie, Bell, W. and H. Elder. The subscription was fixed'at 2s 6d for ; juniors up to 16 years of age,.and Ss for| ; seniors. '. -.
