Oddie.—(Advt.) Br .T. L. A. Aymaid has been substituting g'ass for lint in dressing certain kinds of wourds. He describes his experiments at .To'umnesbiirg Hospital in the " Lancet." Taking a piece of thick window glass, he ground the edges on an ordinary grind-
stone, and then smeared ifc with carbolic oil. The glass -was placed on a patient instead of lint, and the wound healed, up entirely, and, he says, will leave no traco of a scar. In other cases Dr Aymard used watch, glasses, with equally satisfactory results. A great advantage of the method is that it enables wounds to be examined without removing the dressing.
