The Canterbury Farmers' Co-operative Association report on their horse market at TattersalFs yards on Saturday as follows :—The yarding comprised forty-five draught, light harness and hackney horses. Except for good sorts, the market was weaker than usual. Light harness horses iwere enquired for, and good sorts were easily sold. We quote values.as follows: Draughts (young with trial), £33, £35 15s, £36, £37 15s, £39 to £4O ditto . light and aged;"£is, £l6 10s, £l7 15s, £lB to £2O; light harness horses, £ls, £l7 10s, £l7 15s to £18; weeds and scrubbets—almost "unsaleable. BESWICK STREET MART.,, - The event of the day at Mr J". B. Rutland's sale on Saturday was the,offering of a line of bicycles for auction sale.. Of these thirty were sold, at prices ranging from £7 17s 6<J to £8 7s 6d. Poultry, etc., were sold as "usual; poultry,, however, were not in very keen demand. Hens fetched Is, Is 3d, Is 6d, Is 9d to 2s; roosters (small)., Is 3d-; ducks 2s, 2s 9d per pair ; geese Is $d each. Pigs—One sold at 7s, one at Bs, two at 8s and two at £l. Potatoes, §d to Id per lb. Fowl wheats 10s, 10s 6d, lis ' per sack. Plums 4s 6d, 5s 6d, 6s and & 6d per case; apples, 5s per ease. Sundries and faraiture sold at current auction; valaes. | LAUD SALES. "• On Saturday -. Mr Moss Jonas offered a section of one acre and five perches,, with a 5-roomed house, at Saltwater Creek.
