- WA&HDYKK Y. PLEASANT POINT. ■ A match between the Waskdyke and Pleasant' Point Tennis -Clubs was played at Washdyke oa Thursday afternoon. The day was all that could be desired.. Some good play xouk place, but tlie. Pleasant Point Club proved too good for. their opponents, the former's, pracing and general play being, very fair. Owing to. darkness several of. the singles were not played. Afternoon, tea was provided' by the Washdyke : Club, and both visitors and others present ' did ample justice to all the good things.
