NORTH OTAGO V. SOUTH CANTERBURY, j The second innings of the matek between North Otago and South Canterbury was played yesterday. The wicket was in very good order, and much fasier than when the ! first innings was played on Thursday. The South Canterbury innings- opened unpropitiously, four wickets falHng for 23. A feature of the gams-was the large- number of l.b. w.'s, and the fewness of the' catches. McCaskill bowled splendidly-, keeping a very good length.
