The Canterbury Farmers' Co-operative-Associatibh report on the horse, market at TattersaH's yards on Saturday,' as follows : entry comprised 68 draught, light harness,; and hackney horses. The demand for young farm ikorses • was very good, but aged, stale, and sorts .were very slow of sale. We quote values - as under:—Draughts, young, -ftvitfr'atrial, ' ; £SB, £4O to £42 -10s; light- and aged, , £l2, £l4. £l6 to £2O; light harness sorts £l4, £l6 to £l7 10s; hackneys, £7 10s .. to £lO. Mr Rutland's auction rooms were well patronised /en Saturday, and he effected a good clearance of the usual variety of produce and miscellaneous wares. The goods Bold included quantities of toys, jewellery, watches, exc. For hens, prices realised were ls/6d.
