SPECIAL ATTENTION is directed to a decision given in the Law Courts recently, to the effect that hales of •wool bearing names such as "Leicester," "Lincoln," "Romney," "Sluropshire," etc., will have to pay the full duties imposed upon English wool; namely, twelve cents per pound, as against the rate on Colonial wool of eleven cents. ' Growers, are. therefore requested to see that these names, are NOT branded on the bale of wool itself, but should be simply marked on the specifications. ' ~"' .'
