WE ARE -PREPARED TO MAKE LIBERAL CASH ADVANCES AGAINST CLIPS ENTRUSTED TO OUR CARE. SPECIAL ATTENTION is directed to a. decision given in the Law Courts recently, to the effect that bales of wool bearing names such as "Leicester," "Lincoln," "Ronmey," " etc., witt have to pay the full duties imposed upon lish wool; namely, twelve cents per pound, as against the rate on Colonial wool of eleven i cents. Growers are •• therefore requested to see that these names are NOT branded on the bale of wool itself, but should be simply marked on .the specifications. Attention is further directed to the factthat all bales of wool shipped from here should be branded NEW ZEALAND. We ask Clients' .attention to these two matters in view of saving unnecessary expense.
