A CHRISTMAS ROMANCE.
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, January 1. During the Xmas holidays a man. named Matthew Babesch reported to the police that while cycling between Featherston. and Upper Hutthe was "stuck up" by three men and robbed of his money and jewellery. Investigations by the police show that the story has dj- foundation, and that the assault originated in the mind of Babesch. '
