PROPERTY SALES. Guinness and LeCren, Limited, report the 'following sales of property during the past week:—Account owner, house and section Studholme street, to Mrs Bain; account Mr R. G-. Reid; all at very satisfactory prices. TIMARU PRODUCE MARKET. The market for wheat has a firmer tendency and fair sales ttiave been made during; the week. Values are 3s lid for Tuscan and Velvet ; 3s o£d! for Bedehaff, f.0.b.; sacks extra. Oats also have hardened considerably, to-day's values being Is lOd at country stations for Gartons, Is 9d for Danish, Is lOd for Duns, Is 9d for Tartars; sacks extra. Potatoes have a tendency, due to foreign supplies. They are quoted at £9, f.o.b.

THE HOME MARKETS. Messrs Dalgety and Co. report under date, London September 29th:—"We expert no improvement in frozen, meat prices until stocks are reduced. Since'our last telegram prices of frozen mutton are rather lower, and New Zealand frozen laml> is lower by gd per lb. There is no change in the prices of frozen beef sides. Prices of combing sheepskins are lower by per" lb, and prices of clothing sheepskins are at par to id per lb higher." ST.
