No wonder they are sceptical t>f all claims endorsed by strangers, residing in far distant parts of the colony. It is no longer necessary to accept such endorsement for local citizens are giving tlieir testimony and 'tis an easv matter for any reader to investigate the correctness of sncli evidence as the following:Mrs J. Cnrne, Bank street, this town, says:—" My hnsband has put up with a great- deal of misery through pains in his back. They were of an aching nature and were always worse when he stood about after working. He used different remebut none of them seemed to do him much good.
