Yesterday afternoon the scow Haeremai--stood in from the north-east,-quite close to the • lightihouse, and having made her repyyly bore away again as if returning';to' tiie disabled vessel. The steamer..Moura- .was passing the lighthouse at the time the- Haeremai reported, and the lighthouse people say she kept on her usual course.
