The Koonya left Greyinouth for the Bluff on Saturday evening, and is due here on Friday, to load produce for West Coast tiorts. - The- Buteshire which, sailed from the Bluff on June 22nd, reached Bristol last Tuesday; and the Matatua which left Lyttelton on July 9th arrived at London on Friday last. The Invercargill arrived from.Colac Bay. about- 2.30 a.m. yesterday with 60,000 feet of timber. - She loaded 290 sacks of bran and pollard, shippfed by the Belford Mills, and sailed for Dunedin last night. The Wanaka is due this morning from Oamaru, with 38 tons of general cargo and sugar from Auckland. She will ship 500 tons of produce here, for Napier, Gisbome, and Auckland, and will probably ' sail this afternoon.

The Union Company's MararoaMn. coming into Lyttelton harbour on Saturday, froin Sydney, Auckland, and other northern ports, refused to answer her henn jiTst outside the moles. She slewed round outside the eastern mol© and bumped on (be mud. The tide was unusually low, the -Mararoa was drawing 19ft. 6in., and there was a considerable swell on, so that she-scraped about on the mud for abouthalf an hour. She then put about and steamed into deep water, and was finally berthed at 11.15 a.m., having arrived at the moles at 9.30. The passengers for the ; south had meanwhile been landed by launch, and: thus wer© enabled to catch the express.
