THE PUBLIC SHEARING SHED AT WASHDYKE SALEYARDS, WILL BE OPEN on 13th OCTOBER for the Coming .Season's SHEARING, and a full Board of Shearers, all PICKED EXPERTS in handling the Machines, have been engaged ; also a competent * WOOLCLASSER; so that Owners can depend on their Sheep being carefully Ihandled, cleanly shorn, and well turned out, and their Wool properly classed, so as to command, the highest Market Value. This Shed was largely used lest Season, Sheep coining from Geraldino and Studholme Districts. It is claimed 'for Machine Shearing by men who have used them, that Sheep look better, and the Wool is in better condition, as the Staple is not broken, .consequently a better Price per lb. is obtained for five- Clip. Owners may send their Sheep to the Shed in the morning, get them shorn, ti ad back in' the Paddock the same .evening. Everything is found but Woolsacks, and the Charges are on the LOWEST. SCALE. NOTICE is hereby given that at the Annual General Meeting of Membeis of the above Association, to be held in the ASSEMBLY ROOMS, Timaiu, on SATURDAY, the 17th day of September, 1904, at the hour of one o'clock in the afternoon, the following Resolution will be moved, that is to say— That Article 118 of the Articles of Association be rescinded, and the following substituted therefor. Once in every year the Accounts of the Association shall be examined and the correctness of the Balance Sheet thereof shall be ascertained by Two Auditors, who shall be appointed by the Association bv Resolution passed by ballot at each Annual General Meeting, and sliail continue to hold office until the next Annual General Meeting, but who shall be eligible for re-election, from year to year, as long as the Association may decide. NOTICE is hereby given that at a General Meeting of Members of the above Association, to be held at Timaru, on SATURDAY, 17th September, 1904, at the hour of one o'clock in the afternoon, the following Resolution will be moved, that is to say : " That the Nominal Capital of the Association be increased beyond the Registered Capital of £IIO,OOO by the addition tnereto of the sum of £15,000, divided into 3000 Shares of £5 each, such Shares to be under the control cf the Directors, who may, notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in Article 40 of ' be Articles of Association, allot or otherwise dispose of the same to such persons, on such terms and conditions, and at such times as they think fit."
