He found them in the bar, and showed them v his samples. He took no drink. Constable 3. Irwin gave evidence of finding accused in the bar; when spoken, to by witness, accused immediately left :the premises. \ The barmaid of .the hotel said that,on the day in question accused came to the bar, but had no drink. None of those in. •the hotel knew accused, and on many-pre- '.' .Vibus occasions he had got drink, there., *"^'lie .would have had some; more then, had v ' ; the constable not come in ;wh.en he/did.
