•m t. u • D USEDDf, April 15. The Presbyterian Synod concluded its sitting^to-night. Attention having been called to a published statement that a minister under suspension had been ordained a deacon, by the Bishop of Dunedin, it was resolved:—" That the clerk be instructed to call the attention of the Presbytery of Christchurch to a report in the public press to the effect that a minister at present under sentence of suspension by the Presbyterv of Christchurch has been ordained as a clergyman of the Church of England, and to ask the Presbytery to take what action it may seem to it fitting in view of the fact.' '
