THE GRAIN MARKETS. The markets ate still very quiet. In "wheat there is no change in prices t n-faich are still 'nonuhalj.owlng to the marftet being very bare of all grain. and to the fact that £he new wheat is not ready ye*. The .market for fowl wheat is also very bare. Business in oat* is practically stagnant, and it is very difficult just novr ti> get rid of old oats at any price. Rrryers are -waiting for new oats and until tlu.- market "is more settled, the opinion is that prices ■must fall tower tlian they now are. So far oc-ly one or two samples of new oats have beer, shown. Feed barley is quoted »at 2s 9d f.0.b.. but very little is doing.
CLEARING SALE.
Messrs Moling and report holding a very successful saie at Pakihi, Orari, on Thursday, when in spice of harvest operations there was a larje attendance ot" buyers, and bidding was brisk.
