Per Press Association WELLINGTON. February 5. Ministers say that they have nothing before them to indicate that Mr Justice Conolly contemplates resigning. At auction to-day the Wellington Harbour Board's dock endowment known as the Grainger Street Block was sold on building leases in 27 sectiops. The total annual rental brought by all the sections was £2074, representing a capital value of 352,000. The block is at the rear of the Te Aro railway station. The Colonial Auxiliary Forces' long service medals have been awarded to Gunner James Holmes, Petone Navals; Colonel Gudgeon, New \Zealand Militia; Captain A. Foeks, Ashburton- Rifles; Colonel Robin, \ Dznedin, and Captain Baritrop, Manchester. . ! The annual meeting of shareholders of the Christchurch Gas Company adopted the report of the directors, declaring a dividend ( of 5 per cent, for the half-year, making 10 per cent, for the vear.
