NEW YORK, January 1. As a result of a battle President Castro has reoccupiedi Barquisimito. One hundred and eleven revolutionists were killed and three twenty-five wounded. BERLIN, January 1. The loyal " Auzieger " at Berlin has been informed by its Caracas correspondent that after interviewing President Castro he is convinced that he is merely negotiating in order to. gain time, and has no intention of accepting responsibility LONDON, January 1. Washington reports that whilst accepting arbitration President Castro is creating difficulties by seeking to impose conditions on the blockade.
