Upolu is to arrive from Dunedin and Oamaru to-day. The ?.s. Corinna arrived from Westport afc 8 o'clock vesterday morning. She landed 600 tons of Westport coal, 1000 fire bricks and 10 bags of fire clay. She left for Oamaru and Ducedin at about midnight. The s.s. Hawea arrived from Auckland via Bluff and Oamaru early yesterday morning. She landed 150 tons of general xargo, mostly sugar, and took 400 tons of produce. She left for Napier and Auckland early last night. The barque Devonport was towed in from her anchorage in the roadstead yesterday afternoon, and moored in the harbour between the Moody and Main wharves. Captain Jacobson reports that the barque left Port Stephens, N.S.W., on Thursday, January 30th. Light variable winds prerailed "until the 7th inst.. when a strong northerly gale with high seas was encountered. On February 12th, lat 39 deg., lon. 172deg., the "wind suddenly shifted E. to S-. blowing strongly, splitting some sails. Cape was passed oa~February 14th. and jape Campbell on the 15th, thence to Timaru on the 22nd, strong southerly winds and sea were experienced. The cargo consists of square girder and turpentine piles, which are to the order of the National Mortgage and Agency Co., on account of the Harbour Board.
