* THE OTAGO MEETING. Per Press Association. DUNEIJJN, February 23. The Otago Rifle Association's meeting concluded on {Saturday, when the Ladies' Challenge Shield was competed for. Eleven companies entered teams of five men each. The shield was won by the Kaitangata. Rifles with 464, the 'Waikari Rifles scoring 463. TIAIABU PORT GUARDS. The members of the Port Guards fired for trophies given, by Mr V/. Padget and Mr A. Bmdd on Saturday. The conditions were 10 shots at suo ''yards. Private Griffin, who is shooting in great form, put on the first 10-shot possible recorded on the Timn.ru Tange, and secured Mr Padget's prize. Private Simpson takes Mr Budd's prize.
