United Press Association—Per Biectrio Telegraph—Copyright. Received 5.26 p.m., February 23rd. MELBOURNE, February 23. The Committee has fixed the duty on cement'at 9d per cwt. Sir C. C. Kingston promised to carefully consider the representations of Jhe Queensland members in the Federal Parliament to replace the duty on New Zealand white pine and grant a rebate on all wood used for boxes wherein butter is exported.
