These include a bronze statue representing Genius with a torch in her extended right hand, the whole being of superb workmanship. There are also four most beautiful Etruscan vases and models of various descriptions. Seven other rooms were found to be full of cereals and other foodstuffs. Further explorations of this particular corner of Pompeii are expected to yield rich results.
