The advance of Id an wheat noted in our last week's report is still maintained but the market generally has been quiet on the weak. The ali-rcund quotation for wheat still remains at as f.0.b., sacks extra. The supplies cf old oats are exhausted, and it is expected that samples of the new crop will be brought in to-day. New oats will very probably be quoted at from Is 94 to Is 10d, on trucks at country stations. The demand for this cereal is likely to be keen in view of early orders for South Africa.
