Per Press Association. WANGANUI, January 17. A well-known - local cycle dealer named D. Rows was arrested to-day on a charge of misappropriating money the property of the Adams Star Cycle "Company. The alleged defalcations are said to amount to about £2OO. The teachers' summer school and students' summer school commence here on Monday. NAPIER, January 17. William Start and Henry Dennett have been committed for trial on a charge of assaulting and robbing an elderly man named Beacheru WELLINGTON, January 17. The Wellington Education Board received about 200 applications for 48 vacancies caused by the reorganisation of the school staff. HOKITTKA, January 17. A local trotting club, with a membership of eighty, was formed last night. Application" will be made to the New Zealand Trotting Association for affiliation. The visit will be specially marked by various bodies co-operating to take the visitors to all points of interest. CHRISTCHURCH, January 17.
