DUNEDIN, October 11. Daniel Bagley, a casual labourer on the railway, was working a crane at the goods shed on Thursday, slinging plates out of a truck, when two of the plates slipped and struck him on the back of his head. He was'dazed for some time, and afterwards left to go home. In the evening he was found lying on the side of the road in South D'unedin, and was removed to the hospital,' where he died to-day. At the inquest a verdict of accidental death was returned, and that no blame was attachable to anyone. .
