The dockers' strike is causing the. detention oft twenty-nine grain and ten sugar vessels. Received 9.59 a.m., August 21st. SYDNEY, August 21. The Assembly have adopted a resolution favouring the payment of extra- wages for Sunday labour. All State employers and members of the Assembly generally favour reducing Sunday work as much as possible. The opinion held is that the resolution will have that effect.
