GERALDESTE SALE. There was a good attendance at the Ger4ldme lire stock sale yesterday. The entry CS Sheep was about 9000. Ewes sold fairly trell, and so did forward lambs. Wethers <nd' aged ewes dragged a little. Fat lambs brought 12s lid; three-quarter-bred lambs, 10s Bd, lis, lis 4d, 12s, 12s Id, 12s 6dj g"t*n cull lambs, 8s 2d; half-bred frether lambs, 9s 3d; fat ewes, 10s Id, 10s 6d, lis 2d, lis 6d, lis 9d and 12s; buffered ewes, full-month, lis 9d; xnerino ewes, Ss, 5s Id, 5s sd; merino wethers, 4s to 4s 2d j six and eight-tooth half-bred ewes, 14s There was a fair entry of pigs, porkers sold from 15s to 18s; weaners, 5s fe 7s. Extra prime wethers sold at 20s Ed, good 16s to 18s, unfinished 14s 6d to 15s fid, best ewes 15s to 17s 6d, medium 13s to 14s 6d, others 9s to 12s 6d. 4437 fat lambs came in. The quality on the whole was not good, and there was a slightly easier sale. Freezers sold at 12s lOd to 15s 3d, others 9s 4d to lis 7d. There were 6467 store sheep, mostly lambs and wethers, but a decided drop in the prices for lambs. Wheat.—A fair amount of business is doing, but the market is not buoyant. Prime velvet and Tuscan are quoted at 2s 6d to 2s 7d, medium 2s 3d to 2s sd, fowlfeed 2s to 2s Id, broken and damaged Is Bjd to Is lid. Oats. —There is a fair demand for good to bright feed sorts, but milling is more difficult to sell. Prime milling is quoted at Is 4jd to Is sd, good to best feed Is 3£d to Is 4d, medium Is ljd to Is 3d, inferior Is to Is 2d, bags extra. Barlev. There is a good demand for bright "malting, but other sorts are not sought for. Prime malting is quoted at 2s 6d to 2s 9d, Lakes 3s, medium malting 2s to 2s sd, feed and milling Is 3d to Is 9d.
