CHRISTCHURCH CHRYSANTHEMUM SHOW.
TIMARU WINNERS. Mr G. J. Sealey received the following telegram yesterday afternoon: "Lewis seven firsts, two premiers, Blythe Memorial, and interclub. Cross second to Lewis." The Blythe Memorial is a challenge cup, held for the year, and carries a money prize of £1 Is. This is the fourth time out or seven that. Timaru has won the cup. Mr Lewis took only seven stands, and Mr Cross two. Mr Lewis therefore won first with each of his stands, and two out of the three prizes for best single' blooms. Timaru chrysanthemum growers will be delighted to read this news.
