WELLINGTON, January 4. The export of gol dfrom the colony for December amounted to 34,0Q80z, valued at £130,738. The exports fropi the various ports were—Auckland, 18,4450z, value £69,037; Nelson, 3090z, value £1161; ""Greymouth, 17890z, value £7159 ; Duendin, 13,4650z, value £54,381. The amounts for the colony for the corresponding month of the previous year were —39,6750z, valued at £153,602. The total export of gold for the year was 371,9950z, valued at £1,432,953, as compared with 369,5850z valued at £1,513,272 for 1899. The amount of silver exported during December was 32,7320z, valued at £3835, as compared with 31,968 oz, valued at £3768 for the corresponding period of the previous year. DUNEDIN, January 4.
