He heartily wished her every success and happiness in hs-r new sphere. At the same time the staff of the firm presented her with an elaborate tea? service and tray, and all spoke in high, terms of her as a popular shop-mate, and parted with best wishes. Miss Dale, who was evidently taken by surprise, feelingly replied, and said that she would never forget the kindness always shown her by everyone connected with the firm. She also heartily thanked them for the presents received, and assured them that they would be always prized by her, as .they, would remind her of many pleasant associations.
