The following are rainfall reeords received for December: — i. Wfcft dssa.. Inches. Fairlie, Mr Gillingham ... Strathallan, Messrs LeCren 111 1.97 Orari. Gorge, Mr B. Messrs LeCren Brothers regprt that the heaviest falls at Strathallan were on the 7th December and 24th Dcuebtber, .44in and .42in respectively -Mr D. H. Gillingham, Lawbreek, Fairlie,' reports the rainfall fop* December at 1.20 inches; the heaviest falUj.,34 on Christmas Day.
