MOUNT PEEL ROAD BOARD.
■ * J The Mount Peel Koad Board met on Friday last. Messrs G. J. Dennistoun (chairman), B. E. H. Tripp, and 0. S. Thomson were present. The overseer : reported that the men were absent har- \ vesting. Mr R. Mackay wro^er-apologising for v his absence from tKe meeting. S Mr H. G. Smith wrote, offering to supply horse feed.— The clerk was instructed to advertise for the supply of — ~ *««jatß and chaffs |Phe Chiel Surveyor wrote, asking for return , showing the expenditure of thirffc" etc.— The clerk was instructed to. attend to the matter. Thp Valuer-General wrote enclosing forms of notice of sales and leases. The overseer was instructed id clear out the block cutting at Lynn's Pord, and to pat the crossing at Sowerby's gate m good order. Attention was drawn to gorse spreading on the roads adjoining Mr Blair's property, and the clerk was instructed to Bee that Mr Blair cleared the same immediately after harvest. Accounts amounting to £55 9s were passed for payment, and the Board rose.
