There was a fair entry at the Washdyke sale 7 yesterday. The attendance was smaller than usual, and m consequence of this business was a little slack. However, most of the lines wert quitted. The quotations were— Fat ewes 12b, 13s to 13s 6d ; two-tooth ewes and wethers (forward turnipers) 14s, 14s 3d to 14s 6d ; full-mouthed halfbred ewet m lamb 7s 9d ; good store lambs (three-quarter-breds) 11s, 11s 6d, 11s 7d, 12s tc 128 6d. The small entry of cattle was ol a poor class and buyers were not keer to do business.
