P. Wood ; J.W. Bro. F. O. Watson; Treasurer, Bro. C. 8. Fraser, P.M.. ; Secretary, Bro. J. E. 8. Jackson, P.M.; 8.D., Bro. James Barber; J.D., Bro. Rev. J. M. Whitehead, M.A.; D.O. Bro. George's (Temuka), Mackenzie, and many other, lodges were well represented. After the ceremony the brethren adjourned to the Assembly Rooms, where Mr Budd provided a first class banquet for over 100 with a highly varied menu, and the tables were very tastefully arranged as well as heavily laden with good things. In fact it seemed a pity to spoil such a picture as the tables presented before the company sat down. After justice had been done to the repast, the usual ;loyal and Masonic toasts were duly honoured, interspersed with vocal and instrumental music, and a most- pleasant evening was spent, the company separating shortly after midnight. . - . . . i
