SOUTHBURN.
At the annual meeting of householders on Monday evening the attendance was rather small. Mr James Bell (the late chairman of Committee) being chosen as chairman, read the report and balancesheet, which were considered satisfactory, there being a balance to credit of £7 ls. After passing a vote of thanks to the outgoing Committee, the following gentlemen were elected to serve for the ensuing year :-- Messrs Blackmore, Ward, Chamberlain, Rapsey aud N elder. At the meeting of the new Committee held afterwarda Mr T. Nelder waa unanimously choaen chairman.
