NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Mackenzie County Council, held on 4th April, 1898, a reaolution was adopted making by special order a SPECIAL RATE of 11-32 of a Peny in the £ on all Rateable Property within the Three SpringsFairlie Snecial Rating District (such district being the Three Springs-Fairlie Water District) to provide interest on a loan of £850 proposed to be raised under " The Government Loana to Local Bodies Act, 1836," such Special Rate to be an Annually Recurring Rate for a period of Twenty-six Years, and to be Due and Payable at the Office of the Mackenzie County Council, Fairlie, in one sum on the Ist DAY of JULY in each of such yeara. The Special Order will Come into Force on 10th MAY, 1898, and a Meeting of the aaid Council will be held at the MackenzieCountyCouncil Office, Fairlie, on 9th MAY, 1898, for the purpose of Confirming the said resolution.
