In Chambers, before His Honour the Chief Justice, Mr Jellieoe moved to remove a caveat lodged by Mr John Herman against ex-Detective Kirby's property, at Napier, under a deed executed in July of last year. His Honour made an order that unless Herman begins an action in the Supreme Court to establish his claim before the Ist February, the caveat is to be removed with costs. ■
