SUPREME COURT.
(By Telegraph.) IN\ERCARGILL, June 19. The trial of Minnie Dean was continued to-day. The question of the admissibility of the evidence of the murder of Eva Hornsby was brought up by Mr Hanlon for accused. Mr Justice Williams said that he had no doubt such evidence was admissible, but noted Mr Hanlon's objection, m order that he might, if he chose, bring the natter under the notice of the At-torney-General, as provided by subsection 1 of section 413 of the Criminal Code Act. The taking of evidence proceeded and was practically finished, but it is possible that the Crown will lead evidence m connection with the skeleton of a child found at the Larches. Nothing new was elicited.
