THE POLO TOURNAMENT.

—, 4, _ (By Telegraph.) CHRISTCHURCH, March 19. The polo tournament was continued to-day with matches between Rangitikei first and Warrengate, and between Rangitikei second and North Canterbury. There was a good attendance. The first game produced some splendid play, but Rangitikei first besides being the better mounted team were a littlp stronger than their opponents, and ultimately won by five goals to one goal. The game between North Canterbury and Rangitikei was of a most exciting description, and at the close of the stipulated play was a tie, each team having scored four goals. It was decided to play another ppell, and amidst great excitement Dalrymple hit a goal and secured the match for Rangitikei second.
