Timaru Herald Office, Saturday evening. The Canterbury Farmers' Co-operativ< Association, Limited (per Mr J. Mundell auctioneer), report on the horse markei at Tattersall's yards as follows : — Oui entry comprised 23 horses and 3 cows The attendance of buyers and others interested m horse flesh was good. UP' standing horses, suitable for dog carts, was m good demand, but for good draught horses there is no improveineni m values since our last report. The following are our quotations for this sale :— Draughts, young with trial, £11 10s, £12 to £14 ; do. light and aged, £5 to £7 ; upstanding light harness sorts, £14 10s to £16 ; hackneys, inferior, £3 10s to £5. Cows m profit, £5. .
