The following will play for the Union m their final matoh for the Cup, at Winchester, on Thursday next :— Simpson, Shrimpton, Gerity, Anderson, Healen, Murdoob, Btraohan, Gardner, Ker, Bhewan, Macintosh, Ihompeon (2), Paismore, and Qainn. A football match took place on Thursday afternoon on the Star ground, between the Piratei first and the Colonial aeoond fifteen. Xhe teams were evenly matched, and no score resulted m the first spell. In the (second spell, Quirk soored » try and Kelly converted from a difficult angle. The Pirates thus won by 6 points to nil. Mr Bapiey gave every satisfaction as referee.
