About a hundred unionists m the WiU cannia district burnt the drafting yards on one station, and destroyed three mile» of rabbit fence. They then visited another station and smashed the pumping machinery to fragments and fired the engine house. The police extinguished the fire, arrested 24 men, and seized ft quantity of firearms and ammunition, Melbourne, September 25. Mr Turner finds himself m a difficulty with regard to the Labour party. Smith, who 1 sympathises with the Labour party without being actually connected with it, will receive a portfolio as & compromise. Received 1 a.m., September 26th. Sydney, September 25. A Btasarittg outrage is reported from the Bourke distriot. It ia alleged that a party of men destroyed the fodder sheds by firing them, and also destroyed the artesian well piping. A posae of police has been despatched m pursuit of the perpetrators.
