Some sales of land hare been held ia Lincolnshire lately whioh show that where land is m convenient parcels \t »ejlt mcHly, In oae case a small |a.»|a w^th house and buildings and I7i aar«s of land, fetched £830; another, of 23| acres, made #1010. A houre and two acres of land made £250. Other plots of land sold without buildings as follows:—Nine aoree, £450; 2f aoreg, £145; 8£ aores, £185. On the other hand, a farm of 750 acres failed to find a purchaser at £13,000, and another of 259 acres at £3000. From this it will be eeen that small holdings make £50 and £60 an aore, whilst large ones, only fetch from £11 to £17 per acre, m the same oountry.
