The game, though not exactly up to a rep. exposition of grand old Bugby was a fair one — humourous incidents being more numerous than scientific sorew scrumming or sensational springs along the line. Ihe Mutuals provtd too good for the students of Pitman, J Philp sooring two tries for tbe former, 0 Macintosh converting one try and kicking a fine penalty goal, while Malcolmson added his quota by potting a goal — 15 points of a total, to the students' 5 points, a try got by MoKenzie, from whioh Stone got a goal.
