Early Morning's sire is the great Young Banker (1364), bred by David Biddell, of Kilborvio, Scotland. His dam is Princess Royal (285), and wan bred by Mr R. : Matthews, at Temuka. Early Morning, bred by Mr R. Matthews , of Temuka, is a beautiful dark bay with blaok points, and stands 16 hands S inohes m , height, being 13 inohes below the knee, and 31 inohes round the arm, and is 7 feet 10 inches m girth, with immense power. He is compactly built, with plenty of hair and bone, although his bone is very heavy, it is of the right clean, flat kind, with plenty of silky hair on his legs, growing m the right plaoe. He stands on exceptionally good sound feet and legs, with plenty of action. He having proved himself a sure foal-getter, breeders should not miss such a welcome horso. No better stallion stands m the district or ono moro fitted to improve the draught horse etook, and his pedigree is unexceptional.
