Sydney, Sept. 20, A large procession of workmen paraded the streets and proceeded towards Parliament Buildings to present resolutions condemning the action of the Government at Broken Hill. A large force of troopers snd police on foot took possession of Mac Quarry street and the vicinity of the buildings, and prevented all approach to the preoincta. A deputation of 16 men was selected to interview the Premier, but only three were permitted to enter. Sir George Dibba then declined to receive them. The police continued to guard the approaches to the Parliamentary Buildings till evening. Work is proceeding quietly at Broken Hill.
