Best bullocks brought £1 to £& 2a 6d, one pen extra heavy ,£9, medium to good £5 15a to £6 15a, lightweights £4, to .£5 12s 6d, best cowa .£6 to £7, medium .£4 to £5 10s, inferior £2 10s to £3 17s 6d. FAT SHEEP. 2355 were penned, inoluding 200 merino wethers. Competition was fairly active, last week's prices being about maintained. Best crossbred wethers brought 13s to 14s 6d, ordinary lis to 12s 9d, best do ewes lis 6d to 12a 9d, ordinary 9s 3d to lis, merino wethers 9s to 12s 93. GEAIN. Wheat — The market continues flat. Odd lots are occasionally being disposed of for feed purposes, bnt millers are not anxious to do any buaineas, even at a drop of 6d to 9d per bushel on prices ruling a few weeks ago. Most of the mills are closed. Quotations are nominal, aay, for beat milling 4s. 3d to 4s 6d, medium to good 4s to 4a 3d, inferior to medium 2s 6d to 3s 9d, ex store (sacks weighed m terms.) ■ ■ Oats — Quiet, and the odd lots coming forward are difficult to place except at a reduction. Shipping, ia almost at a standstill, and millers are doing little or nothing m tho oatmeal line, so that the demand for nulling sorts has almoat vanished. The tone at the moment ia not at all satisfactory. Quotations for beat milling Is 7d to la 7_d, heat bright feed Is 6Jd to Is 7d, medium Is s&d to la 6d, inferior la ' 2d to Is 4^d, ex store (sacks extra not ; fd per bushel more f.0.b., Dnnedin). Barley — No business of any consequence i passing. Quotations nominal. ,
