" In looking over the farm wo were pleased to see that the feed was considerably improved since our last vißit, tho stud heifers fat, and ovoro cattle were all looking healthy and well, the sheep also looked remarkably well. Tho mangolds turned but a very good crop, but tho turnipß wero not up to other years, having gone off with tho fly and dry weather. '• The different breeds of dairy cows were m fair condition, thirty m milk. The pigs were iv primo condition, with a great numbm- of young ones coming on ; the f«ediog troughs aro arranged to prevent the full-grown pigs taking the food frnm the little ones. Tnero is another lot of pigs about six or eight months old, just about fit for fattening, which should bo very profitable. " The seaton being so favourable, the work on the farm has progressed rapidly. " A number of tho students were at work on a part of tho bost land on the farm, which had never been ploughed before, draining, leveling, and filling m blind creeks. This has been a great expense, but will prove an immense adTantago m tho end, as it will ba oil put m rrjp this year.
